Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 September 2026

I take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains which data arises when you visit this website or send a request through the contact form, what I use it for and which rights you have. It is deliberately short: this website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads nothing from third parties.

1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is FrenzelTech, Heinz Frenzel, Hohlstrasse 413, Zurich, Switzerland. For privacy questions, reach me through the contact form; further details are in the imprint.

2. Scope and legal bases

This policy applies to the website frenzeltech.ch. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) governs the processing. Where I process data of persons in the European Union or the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies in addition.

Under the GDPR, handling requests is based on Art. 6(1)(b) (steps prior to entering into a contract) and operating the website on Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in a secure, working website).

3. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted on a server in Switzerland that I operate myself. When you open a page, the web server automatically processes your device's IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and browser and operating system details, and stores them in log files.

This data serves solely to run the website securely, fend off attacks and analyse errors. It is not linked with other data and is deleted after 30 days at the latest, unless a security incident requires longer retention.

The connection to the website is encrypted with TLS.

4. Contact form and email

When you send a request through the contact form, I process the details you enter to review and answer the request and, where applicable, prepare a quote.

Data collected

  • Name and, if provided, company
  • Email address
  • Type of project, budget range and preferred start
  • Your description of the project
  • The language in which you use the website and the time of the request

The request is delivered to my mailbox as an email; you automatically receive a confirmation at the address you provided. Mail is sent through my own mail server; no external form or newsletter service is involved.

I keep requests as long as needed to handle them. If no engagement follows, I delete the request no later than twelve months after the last contact. If an engagement follows, I retain business correspondence in line with statutory retention duties (Art. 958f Swiss Code of Obligations, ten years).

Providing the data is voluntary; without a name, email address and description I cannot answer a request, however. The form contains a field invisible to humans to deter spam; if it is filled in, the submission is discarded.

5. No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or social media tools. Fonts and icons are served from my own server; nothing is embedded from Google, content delivery networks or other third parties. The chosen language is part of the address (/de or /en) and is not stored.

6. Links to other websites

The website links to my LinkedIn profile and to projects I operate (germailbox.de, spendings.ch, demo.buythis.ch). When you follow these links, the privacy terms of the respective provider apply. LinkedIn is operated by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company.

7. Disclosure of data

I do not sell personal data and do not pass it on for advertising purposes. Data is disclosed only where necessary to fulfil an engagement, where you have consented, or where I am legally obliged to. Web and mail servers run on my own infrastructure; third parties have no access to your requests.

8. Data security

I take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access: encrypted transmission (TLS), encrypted and access-restricted mailboxes and regularly updated server systems.

9. Your rights

Within the scope of applicable law you have the following rights:

  • Information on whether and which personal data I process about you
  • Rectification of inaccurate data
  • Erasure of your data, unless a retention duty prevents it
  • Restriction of processing and objection to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Receipt of your data in a common electronic format (data portability)
  • Withdrawal of consent with effect for the future

To exercise your rights, an informal message through the contact form is sufficient. Persons in the EU or EEA may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) is responsible.

10. Changes to this policy

I update this privacy policy when the website or legal requirements change. The version published on this page applies; the date of the current version is shown above.
